This website refers to work from a number of different disciplines. As a rule, the ideas or developments shown have been applied for patents. For the most important inventions, German, European and U.S. patents were also granted. However, the purpose of these applications was to have novelty, inventiveness and usefulness examined. As a rule, an economic exploitation was not possible and also not planned, as this would have required a complete relocation of my activities. Due to my sometimes serious illnesses between 1992 and 2000, this was not realistic either. 

This was particularly the case with the patents for compensating for the frequency response in measurement and control systems, and for the development of a new bioreactor, for which I have also been granted a patent in the USA. The concept behind it can be found under the title "frequency response compensation" or "bioreactor". The founding of startup companies would also have made sense for several other patents or patent applications, but would also have led to the fact that further developments and inventions would not have taken place.

In the years 2001–2006, however, economic exploitation was implemented with the development of a banknote detector, with 30,000 devices being produced. The history of this company as a start-up is worth reading and is also presented on the page "Banknote Testing Devices".However, it also underlines the problem that arises when you work as an inventor and at the same time have to be entrepreneurial. 

From 2006 to 2016, automation aids were developed in the form of universally applicable robot grippers that were connected to workplace collision protection. This invention is certainly one of the most important inventions of my life, even if I consider the level of invention to be manageable, the economic benefits that can be achieved with it are enormous. Perhaps the most important work dealt with the idea of slowing down the warming of the earth by reducing solar radiation. There is also a detailed and detailed elaboration on this concept, which was presented at the DGLR in 2022, under the topic of "earth shading". Another important invention deals with the storage of large amounts of energy for a supra-regional stable energy supply on the basis of rotating magnetic rail systems

Another new development dealt with the conversion of ocean waves into electrical energy, trying to avoid the disadvantages of previous concepts. In addition, a new method of firefighting has been developed, for which a PCT certificate has been issued. Another work shows a technique for erecting fixed structures with the help of mobile rollers, from which the self-assembling structures can be unrolled.
